Irvine and Dreghorn to open its doors

Irvine and Dreghorn Band is hosting an open day.

BUDDING brass and percussion players are being invited to try an instrument as Irvine and Dreghorn Band prepares to host an open day.

The event is taking place from 1pm – 4pm on Sunday, April 24, and is open to any young person or adult who is interested in learning to make music. Those attending will have the opportunity to speak to Irvine and Dreghorn’s training band team and the training band will be on hand to demonstrate its new-found skills.

The event takes place at the organisation’s band hall at Woodlands Football Pavilion (first floor), Woodlands Avenue, Irvine, KA12 0PU. Visitors should use the side door on the far right of the football pavilion, then go upstairs to enter the band hall.
