Musical Director wanted for Barrhead

APPLICATIONS are open for the role of Musical Director with Barrhead Burgh Band.

The East Renfrewshire outfit competes in the third section and rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm until 9.30pm at Barrhead United Services Club, 64 Paisley Road, Barrhead, G78 1NN.

A spokeswoman for Barrhead Burgh Band said: "We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, enjoys a passion for good music and who is keen to promote the band locally and nationally.

"The band wants to entertain while consolidating its position in the third section and we look forward to welcoming interested candidates."
