Buckhaven and Methil hails marathon man!

Buckhaven and Methil cornet player Dr. Giles Harris went the extra mile for his band earlier this month when he completed the Stirling Marathon, dressed in band uniform and playing a plastic cornet!

As a result, Giles managed to raise around £1,200 to help boost the regenration of the band's junior section, Buckhaven Brass Beginnings.

A spokesperson for the band commented: "Everyone connected with the band would like to thank Giles for his efforts and wish him good luck with all events in the future."
