Legacy of Bruce Fraser to thrive at NYBBS
Sunday 2 July 2017The legacy of the late, great Bruce Fraser lives on thanks to the generosity of his close friend, Nigel Durno from Just Music.
Bruce Fraser sadly passed away in February of this year but, in a fitting tribute to the gifted musician, Nigel has very kindly donated music written by Bruce Fraser to the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland (NYBBS) for its summer course at Strathallan in July this year.
The NYBBS Children's Band will play Bruce Fraser's Caribbean Holiday, last played by the NYBBS Reserve Band in 2007, and his 1988 work Toccata at this year's course.
