Whitburn to showcase Fraternity ahead of Open

As Scottish Champion band Whitburn puts the finishing touches to this year's British Open test-piece, Fraternity by Thierry Deleruyelle, a special 'open rehearsal' will take place tomorrow evening in the West Lothian town, with everyone welcome.

Following the band's recent hat-trick of wins under Professor Nicholas Childs which saw success at the Scottish Open, Scottish Championships and Grand Shield, Whitburn has employed the services of Paris Brass Band Musical Director Florent Didier for its welcome return to the Symphony Hall contest this coming Saturday.

The open rehearsal will take place in Whitburn Band Hall, in the town’s Murraysgate Industrial Estate, from 7.30pm tomorrow evening, Wednesday, 6 September.
