David Neil Passes on the Baton at Buckhaven and Methil Miners’ Brass Band

David Neil conducted the Band for the last time at St. Andrews Bandstand after eight years as M.D. During this time the Band has made good progress under his direction and for the most part, Band and Conductor have worked in harmony. David is moving on to pastures new and the Band wishes him and his family good luck for the future, whatever that may bring.

The Band are happy to announce that Andy Shaw has agreed to pick up the baton. Andy has worked with the Band in the past, with some success, so the Band look forward to the year ahead with a variety of engagements in the coming months.
