Whitburn to showcase Open test-piece

Scottish Champion Whitburn Band will showcase its work on the British Open test-piece at an open rehearsal on Wednesday, 5 September.

Following last year's remarkable runner-up spot at the same contest, Whitburn have again turned to French conductor Florent Didier who will guide the band through Bert Appermont's A Brussels Requiem.

The rehearsal will take place at the Whitburn bandhall at Murraysgate, Whitburn, starting at 7.30pm.
