Judges announced ahead of 2019 'Area' contest

As the Scottish Open and Scottish Youth Brass Band Festival approach this weekend, the Scottish Brass Band Association (SBBA) has announced details of the adjudication panel selected ahead of the Scottish Brass Band Championships in March 2019.

NYBBS Musical Director Emeritus Richard Evans, Black Dyke trombone star Brett Baker and composer/arranger Leigh Baker are all on the panel while Sarah Groarke-Booth makes her first adjudicating appearance at the Scottish ‘Areas’. Tenor horn virtuoso Sheona White also heads back ‘home’ for her second judging appearance at the contest.

 The decisions as to who judges which sections at the Perth Concert Hall will be made at a later date. The Scottish Championships will take place over the weekend of 9 and 10 March, 2019.
