Enquiry about family history of James Taylor

Alision Tessier has contacted SBBA trying to trace some family history about her grandfather who played in 'Clyde Colliers Prize Brass Band' the conductor was E H O McGowan.

The band photo is not very clear, but we said we would ask if anyone has information about the band or James Taylor who was born on 31st May 1881, he was known to have played Bagpipes and Trumpet.
