Advent Calendar of Carols: Renfrew Burgh Band – O Come All Ye Faithful

The first band to be featured in our Advent Calendar of Carols as a countdown to Christmas Day is Renfrew Burgh playing Adeste Fidelis, O Come All Ye Faithful.

Originally filmed for use by Renfrewshire Council for distribution to those unable to attend the band’s Christmas concerts, this performance comprises two verses of the perennially popular carol.

“The Coronavirus is preventing live playing by local bands in front of thousands of people nationwide,” says the band’s Mark James. “Performing virtually is the next best thing.”
