‘Symphony of a Thousand’ in Christmas extravaganza

A mass online sing- and play-along event is being organised to really get Scotland into the spirit of Christmas.

The Music Education Partnership Group (MEPG) has launched a ‘Symphony of a Thousand’ which will perform Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas is You and is inviting vocalists and instrumentalists to take part.

The finished music video will be broadcast on 17 December at a live online event, for which you can register by clicking here.

The ‘Symphony of a Thousand’ performance follows the success of a similar event during the summer when 1000 people played and sang Hey Jude.
