Advent Calendar of Carols: Annan Town Band – Christmas Joy

Annan Town Band last played together as a band when they were crowned Scottish second section champions in the week before lockdown in March.

Through the wonders of technology and the talents of close friend Alexandra Kenyon, here is the band’s first virtual performance of Christmas Joy.

It’s been such a difficult year for everyone. Loved ones have been lost and not being at band has been really challenging as Annan, just like other bands, provides so much support to each other through friendship and music making.

But being able to play together virtually is the next best thing at this time. Everyone can't wait to get back together, playing in concerts and contests and serving the wonderful community of Annan.
