SBBA has produced a ‘back to banding’ newsletter to help prepare brass musicians in Scotland for a gradual post-COVID return to live music making again.

The News Update contains information and advice from SBBA on what help and support is available for bands contemplating getting back to face-to-face playing, including links to potential funding streams.

The publication also features a link to a SBBA YouTube chat between association president Carrie Boax and Whitburn Band chairman Charlie Farren on some of the personal and safety aspects to be considered as part of a return to some form of normality.

While getting back to banding is totally dependent on the speed and extent the Scottish Government relaxes current restrictions, there is now a greater air of optimism that soon brass players will be able to meet up once again, albeit in smaller numbers initially.
