Saturday 4 December 2021Here are some more photographs from last weekend’s Scottish Festival of Brass in Perth, featuring the Coalburn Bronze and NYBBS children’s bands (who put on short concerts on Saturday morning prior to the commencement of the Open contest) and prize and award presentations at the end of the day.

Winning the Scottish Open for a seventh consecutive time were Whitburn Band
Whitburn Band's soprano player won the 4barsrest soloist prize which was presented by Iwan Fox
The Neil Philip Memorial Trophy for the best euphonium was presented to the Reg Vardy Band
The Reg Vardy Band were runners-up in the Scottish Open
The Kirkintilloch Band took third place in the Scottish Open
Carrie Boax presented the SBBA President's Awards to Gordon Simpson, of the brassstats.com website, and Iwan Fox, of 4barsrest.com, for services to brass banding
The Coalburn Bronze (above) and NYBBS (below) children's bands provided the Saturday morning entertainment
