Learn about life in an army band at this experience day

The Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland is hosting an opportunity to experience life in a British army music wind band.

Join the band at Edinburgh Castle for front row seats to watch the Guard Mount and Gun Salute, celebrating The Queen's birthday, followed by an open rehearsal with the band in the afternoon of Thursday 21 April.

This is an all-day event and is free. Whilst aimed for young people interested in finding out about a career option in music, the occasion is open to anyone.
