Scots trio team up with European Youth Brass Band in festival opening concert

Monday 25 April 2022

The European Brass Band Festival’s extravaganza in Birmingham kicks off with an inspiring mix of burgeoning talent and banding excellence tomorrow (26 April) at 7.30pm when three young Scottish brass musicians will be joining the European Youth Brass Band in concert at the Bradshaw Hall, Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

Cornet player Callum Robb and baritone Holly Bennett, who hail from Whitburn Band, and Eb horn Amy Paterson, who plays with Black Dyke Band, have all headed to Birmingham this week to be part of this special occasion. Amy has been given the fantastic honour of playing principal horn with the EYBB.

This is your chance to enjoy some of the very best music for brass band whilst supporting the future of the genre.

Tickets are priced at £15/10 each and are available here along with more information about the event.
