Whitburn and Bon-Accord carry Scottish hopes to London
Tuesday 11 October 2022Best wishes and good luck to the two bands who will be flying the flag for Scotland at this weekend’s National Finals at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Whitburn and Bon-Accord Silver bands will be travelling south to join 18 other competitors at this year’s National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain on Saturday.
The set test-piece is Peter Graham's new work Hyperlink which received its world premiere on the summer course of The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain.
Ahead of the championships, Whitburn Band and conductor Garry Cutt will host an open rehearsal at its band hall at Murraysgate, Whitburn, Bathgate EH47 0LB on Thursday from 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome.
