Reflections on a successful Scottish Festival of Brass - part 1
Wednesday 30 November 2022Now that the dust has settled on another successful Scottish Festival of Brass weekend, it’s time for a few pictorial reflections.
First of all, congratulations to all the prize winners and also well done to all participating bands – from the elite Championship Section contenders in the Scottish Open, supported by Besson, on Saturday to the young musicians in Sunday’s Youth Championships starting out on their brass playing journey.
Two weeks earlier the lower section bands fought it out for the honours in the Band Supplies Scottish Challenge – again, many congratulations to the winners and to all the bands who took to the stage to make the event such a statement that Scottish banding was back in business!
