Entries invited to this year’s Borders Entertainment Contest
Friday 16 June 2023The Scottish Borders Brass Band Association is now inviting entries for this year’s Borders Entertainment Contest to be held at the Victoria Halls in Selkirk on Saturday 4 November.
The event, which is open to bands in Sections 2-4, requires competitors to play a 15-minute programme of music which, on this occasion, must include a composition by John Williams.
Adjudication will be open with the adjudicators David Thornton and Jim Chamberlain marking the bands independently.
Entries should be sent to contest controller Christine Calvert at kernigal@me.com by 23 September.
