Search for musical director by Dysart Colliery Silver Band

Dysart Colliery Silver Band is seeking applications for the position of musical director to lead the senior band.

A friendly and hard working group of musicians, the band has a strong community focus which is demonstrated by a balanced calendar of musical activities covering contests, concerts, galas and local engagements, many of which bring together the senior players and members of the development band.

Dysart’s goal as a 3rd Section band for 2024 is to repeat its 2022 achievement of getting to the National Finals.

Rehearsals on Wednesday evenings in Kirkcaldy are well attended together with a flexible schedule of sectionals and additional rehearsals as needed to support major performances.
