Irvine & Dreghorn seek new MD for leading role in organisation

Irvine & Dreghorn Brass is on the look-out for a new musical director to lead its senior band and help with the development of other aspects of the organisation.

The IDB family currently consists of a First Section contesting band, a growing community band and a significant youth programme including its youth band and beginners’ groups, the IDB Brasslets and pBuzzers.

The band has recently taken ownership of a fantastic rehearsal and training facility in the village of Dreghorn, containing numerous practice rooms and the ability to record and livestream events and workshops.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and leading the contesting band and assisting in the growth of all other aspects of the IDB organisation in an exciting and successful chapter in its history.
