Local and international flavour to EBBC Gala Concert
Wednesday 13 March 2024The European Brass Band Championships Gala Concert on Saturday 4 May will have both a local and international flavour with the Palanga Wind Orchestra, European Youth Brass Band and the Cory Band all taking part.
The fantastic European Youth Brass Band – comprising 36 players from 14 European countries, including Scotland’s Freya McLeman (soprano with Bo'ness & Carriden) and Emma Brown (Bb cornet with Bathgate Band) – will be joining forces with Cory to present an exclusive Lithuanian performance of Cory's King Kong show, all under the baton of Philip Harper in a spectacular and immersive brass band experience!
The Gala Concert will reflect the music traditions of Lithuania, from the aristocratic orchestral music concerts in the parks of Palanga to the 100th anniversary of the Lithuanian Song Festival.
The concert starts at 8.30pm in the Palanga Concert Hall on Saturday 4 May 2024. You can buy your ticket here.
