Borders bands team up to present Tweed Valley Brass

St Ronan's Silver Band and Peebles Burgh Silver Band are joining forces to present Tweed Valley Brass, a concert at Innerleithen Memorial Hall on Saturday 4 May.

With participation by the St Ronan’s Future Band and the Peebles Burgh Youth Band as well, the event, which starts at 7pm, presents a unique opportunity to hear all of Tweeddale's brass ensembles playing a musical celebration of the great outdoors and everything that the beautiful Tweed Valley has to offer.

The concert will include a display by local artists and photographers featuring local land and townscape works.

St. Ronan’s will be conducted by the highly respected and experienced Michael Marzella who has developed an excellent programme of music by the host band.

Special guests Peebles, under the expert baton of Vaughan Fleischfresser, will open the concert with a very entertaining set list.

Both senior bands will combine for un uplifting massed bands finale. Peebles Burgh Youth Band will join forces with St. Ronan's Future Band to play as Tweed Valley Brass under their leader Keith Belleville.
