Andrew Duncan takes over as MD at Dalmellington

Dalmellington Band has announced the appointment of Andrew Duncan as its new musical director.

The Scottish composer, arranger, adjudicator and tuba maestro takes over from Gary Williams as the band prepares for its participation in the Senior Cup competition of the British Open Spring Festival in Blackpool on Saturday 11 May.

Dalmellington is grateful to Gary for his work with the band over the last five years. “We wish him the fondest of farewells and the best of luck in the future,” said a spokesperson.
