Six of the best! Life memberships presented at seasonal band events

Congratulations to six of the best as Scottish Brass Band Association life memberships were presented at two seasonal band events.

At Lochgelly Band’s annual awards night, three members received their life membership medals from SBBA in recognition of over 50 years of service to brass banding.

The awards were presented to George ‘Doddie’ Cappie, George Cameron and John Martin by SBBA president Carrie Boax (below).

Newmilns & Galston Band players were also honoured with SBBA life membership awards at their Christmas Joy concert. The medals were presented by newly-appointed honorary president of the band, Matt Paton (left, below), to Andy McIndoe, David Murray and Kevin Kelly.
