Sheona and Aileen included in 4BR Band of the Year

Congratulations to tenor horn soloist Sheona Wade and bass trombonist Aileen Orr on their inclusion in this year’s 4barsrest Band of the Year.
Sheona commented on her Facebook page: “What a surprise to be included in the 4barsrest Band of the Year… if only this band were real!
“2024 has been a year full of personal and musical highlights, with so many amazing performance opportunities. It feels fantastic to be back doing what I love!
“Balancing a full-time job with the time and energy needed to practise and perform hasn’t always been easy, but I’m so fortunate to have the amazing support of my family and friends and I feel truly lucky!”
Aileen remarked: “Delighted and truly honoured to be named as part of the 4barsrest Band of the Year alongside some of the best in the brass band world.
“I am extremely grateful for every opportunity and to everyone who has supported me this year.”
